What happens today

The current meetamelio.com pages do not set analytics or advertising cookies, and do not load third-party advertising tags. The site uses a short script to choose which app-store link appears first on your device; that choice is made in your browser and is not stored in a cookie or sent to us by the script. Our hosting and security infrastructure may receive ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser details and requested page. Technically necessary cookies may be used if required to deliver or protect the site.

Counting visits to our campaign pages, without cookies

Nuestras páginas de campaña (meetamelio.com/l/… y /try) cuentan las visitas sin cookies: cuándo se abre una, cuándo te desplazas hasta la mitad y casi hasta el final, cuánto tiempo sigue abierta (15 o 60 segundos) y si tocas el botón de una tienda de apps. Cada dato se suma a un total diario por página, idioma y origen de la campaña. No guardamos tu dirección IP ni ningún identificador, y no compartimos nada con anunciantes ni con otras empresas. /try recuerda qué página te mostró solo en esta pestaña del navegador, hasta que la cierras.

Our campaign pages (meetamelio.com/l/… and meetamelio.com/try) count visits in a privacy-friendly way, without cookies and without third-party tools. A short script on those pages tells our own server when a page opens, when you scroll past half of it and near its end, when it has been open in the foreground for 15 or 60 seconds, and when you tap a store button. Each of these adds one to a daily total for that page, its headline, its language, the campaign source named in the link (for example, an ad on TikTok) and whether you arrived through /try. We do not store your IP address, a cookie, a device identifier or anything else that could single you out, and we do not share these totals with advertisers or other companies. meetamelio.com/try picks one of the campaign pages at random and remembers which one only in your browser tab (session storage), until you close the tab. The store links on those pages carry the campaign name, so Apple and Google can tell us how many downloads a campaign led to, in aggregate.

The language cookie

meetamelio.com is available in the languages the Amelio app speaks. On your first visit we choose one from your browser’s language setting; the site then sets one strictly necessary cookie, amelio_lang, that remembers the language you read it in (or the one you pick in the footer) for up to a year. It holds only a language code, is not used for analytics or advertising, and is not shared with anyone. If you block or delete it, the site falls back to your browser’s language.

Future measurement and your choice

If we add optional analytics, advertising tags or other non-essential storage, we will update this page and provide the choice required by applicable law before enabling them. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, non-essential cookies require consent. Your browser can block or delete cookies; blocking necessary cookies could affect some functions. We honor applicable Global Privacy Control signals for any future sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Amelio currently does none of those things.

The app and other websites

The Amelio iOS app includes Firebase analytics technology; the Android app uses Firebase for account services and notifications. We do not use advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking. Device privacy settings do not necessarily disable first-party analytics.
